Rydges Formosa

The Formosa Golf Resort offers a high-class 18 hole course, a driving range and sports centre alongside accommodation and a fully licensed restaurant with stunning views of the Hauraki Gulf.

The course, one of the longest in New Zealand, was designed by golfing legend Sir Bob Charles and provides even the best golfer with a challenge while still being playable by social or novice golfers.  driving range offers the chance to practice technique while the sports centre allows visitors to keep fit during their stay.

Fifty villas are located on-site for guests who want to stay at the resort, set in tropical gardens with a view of the golf course or out over the Gulf.  The fully licensed restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, dinner and light meals with menus changing to match the seasons.
